An annual performing arts festival showcasing talent from Qatar and the region.
D’reesha Performing Arts Festival presents a unique experience in Qatar. The inaugural edition brought thousands of people from across Qatar to a week-long event filled with talents in the fields of theatre, music, poetry, storytelling, education, research and much more. The performers included a range high-profile performers, university and school groups, emerging artists, and teachers.
D’reesha is an outlet for connectedness and self-expression, bringing the community together to celebrate global performing arts while highlighting Arab culture, language and heritage.
This year, D’reesha is making a comeback for the second edition coinciding with the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar, on non-match days at Education City. With the theme of “Travel & Adventure,” this year’s festival will bring forth the thriving creative community and inspiring artists from across the region and the world. This unique multidisciplinary platform provided by QF will give the world a performance experience unlike any other.
