The program, one of the strictest in the world, has already been applied to hotels and restaurants around the country after being carefully developed to protect guests and front-line workers by promoting expert protocols of hygiene and cleanliness.
Moreover, the vaccination program is progressing rapidly. And Qatar is one of the top 10 countries in the world in terms of vaccinating it's eligible population. As of July 2021 - over 70% of the eligible population has been innoculated with at minimum one shot. At the same time, Qatar has successfully implemented preventive measures, including the mandatory use of masks, hand hygiene and social distancing for all travellers’ touchpoints.
To ensure maximum safety for all travellers, the Qatar Clean initiative, launched by the National Tourism Council in collaboration with the Ministry of Public Health, provides patrons peace of mind as they enjoy offerings across the hospitality and tourism sectors.
