Things To Do
This is the story of Chef Matthias Stuber
With 15 years of experience in hotels among various brands like Waldorf Astoria, Sheraton, Kempinksi, and collaboration with Michelin-starred restaurants in Germany and Austria, Matthias joined Sharq Village & Spa in January 2020, carrying valuable culinary expertise.
We took the traditional cooking technique and created a new flavoursome dish.
A dynamic personality in and outside the kitchen, Matthias believes interacting with guests is crucial. He also believes in ''hands-on'' training and encourages educational experiences on food concepts and trends through interactive brainstorming sessions with his team regularly.
A certified health expert, Chef Matthias gladly adjusts his menus and adds healthy recipes to meet all guests needs and preferences.
A marinated lamb shoulder or leg bone slow-cooked for six hours in the zarb oven, served with oriental rice, grilled vegetables and mint sauce.
The Ritz-Carlton Spa Sharq Village, Doha offers 174 rooms and suites, with intimate courtyard settings, reflecting glorious years of deeply rooted Qatari heritage and tradition. The beachfront property overlooking the Doha bay is unique in Qatar for its authentic re-creation of life in an attempt to replicate a desert village. A 350 meter long private beach stretch, 3 pools – the resort pool, infinity pool and a kid's pool make this resort a popular attraction for families.
