Qatar entry rules

Qatar looks forward to welcoming you. 

Find all that you’ll need to know about visiting the State of Qatar, including the country’s latest travel policies, visa requirements and more for incoming travellers.

GCC citizens and residents will be allowed to enter the State of Qatar without the need to obtain a Hayya card from the 6th of December, 2022.

Fans from around the world can enter the State of Qatar without a match ticket from 2nd December 2022. However, Hayya Card will still be mandatory for visitors entering the country.

Pre-travel COVID-19 tests

Visitors are no longer required to bring a Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) or Rapid Antigen test certificate before travelling to the State of Qatar.​

PCR/RAT tests on arrival for citizens/residents

Citizens and residents of the State of Qatar are no longer required to take a Rapid Antigen test (nor PCR) upon their arrival in the State of Qatar.​

Ehteraz health application

Individuals are mandated to present the health status on the Ehteraz mobile application only while entering public and private healthcare facilities in Qatar.
