To ensure maximum safety for all travellers, the Qatar Clean initiative, launched by Qatar Tourism in collaboration with the Ministry of Public Health, provides patrons peace of mind as the enjoy offerings across the hospitality and tourism sectors.

Introducing expert protocols of hygiene and cleanliness and best practices for sterilization and disinfection, the program has already been applied to hotels and restaurants around the country.

It aims to protect guests and front-line workers, further support and revive the tourism sector while providing a highly safe tourism experience to Qatar’s visitors and residents.

More than 90% of all hotel and restaurant properties are currently licensed by Qatar Clean, and visitors are advised to look for the Qatar Clean certificate at each restaurant entrance or ask for it upon arrival.

The country’s first and foremost priority is the safety and wellbeing of all travellers. Qatar aims to cement the confidence its visitors already have and address any prevailing uncertainty regarding tourism.
