For the first time ever, Qatar will host the prestigious Geneva International Motor Show (GIMS) from 7 - 14 October 2023 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center. More than a traditional car show, this will be an exciting festival celebrating car culture and excellence in and around the city of Doha.
7-14 October - Doha Exhibition & Convention Center

Experience the thrill of GIMS Qatar 2023, the most influential motor show premiering outside Switzerland for the first time. Get ready to witness 30 of the world’s most renowned automotive brands showcasing a ground-breaking array of new cars, making it the pinnacle of motor shows in the Middle East and beyond.
The event is hosted at the state-of-the-art Doha Exhibition & Convention Center (DECC) and open to the general public from Saturday 7 to Saturday 14 October.
7-13 October - The Outpost Al Barari, Sealine

GIMS Qatar takes you places. Get ready to venture off road where the desert meets the sea. From 7 to 13 October, come aboard and discover our authentic and luxurious festival camp at Sealine and its abundance of exciting and indulging pursuits: exclusive car display, sand boarding, camel riding, dune buggies, hero acts and lives performances. In addition to the program, visitors also have the option of booking accommodation for one or more nights at The Outpost Al Barari Camp, a one-of-a-kind luxury experience celebrating Qatar’s rich natural environment and heritage.
Prepare for an unforgettable experience that will leave you yearning for more.

9 October - National Museum of Qatar
9 AM - 2 PM
Partnering with Qatar Auto Museum (QAM) and Car Design News (CDN), GIMS Qatar explores the future of car design, hosting a curated and selected set of discussions that specifically explore the potential for bold new design directions for luxury and supercars.
Expect a rich programme of scheduled content, an exclusive line-up of speakers, disruptive dialogues, and cross-disciplinary thinking to break out of comfortable silos.
11-14 October - Lusail International Circuit
5 PM - 10 PM
Feel the thrill of driving at the all-new Lusail International Circuit. In partnership with QMMF, GIMS Qatar is organising four exclusive track days for brands and their guests to enjoy premiere access to the circuit right after the F1 champions. After all, why spectate when you can ride or drive?
12-14 October - Lusail Boulevard
5 PM - 10 PM
As dusk turns to evening, from 12 to 14 October, the iconic Lusail Boulevard morphs into an urban playground, bringing the passion and energy of GIMS Qatar 2023 to its climax. Parade of Excellence, spectacular action, entertainment, live performances all around, and a buzzing village area; there will be something for everyone at the Urban Hub. Let the party begin!

Take the metro from Hamad International Airport, which will take about 20 minutes and is nine stops away from the DECC metro stop (red line). The 777 bus route will also take about 20 minutes. If you choose to drive, there are plenty of parking spaces available. Find out more here.
Qatar hosts a special edition of the well-known Geneva International Motor Show once every two years. The event showcases the latest developments in the automotive industry, much like the Swiss edition, and celebrates Qatar's unique and growing car culture.
