Get ready for an evening of world-class martial arts action, as ONE Championship returns to Qatar on March 26, 2027. Following two successful shows in 2024 and 2025, this highly anticipated event sets the stage for global superstars and regional talents in MMA, Muay Thai, kickboxing, and submission grappling.
ONE Championship is the world’s largest martial arts organization, and its upcoming Qatar event will feature global superstars and regional talent in the prime of their careers. Endorsed by Visit Qatar, Media City Qatar, and Ooredoo, this blockbuster spectacle will be stacked with elite-level matches.
Kickboxing, an electrifying combat sport where fierce kicks, lightning-fast punches and crushing knees collide in a heart-pounding display of athleticism.
A mix of other martial arts combat sports, Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) is a full-contact sport based on a combination of punching, striking, grappling and mat fighting.
Known as ‘the Art of 8 Limbs’, Muay Thai uses punches, elbows, knees and kicks, along with clinching, sweeps, and throws, it’s a dynamic and powerful discipline rooted in Thai tradition.
Evolving from ancient Greek wrestling, submission grappling takes place on the mat, focusing on technique, leverage and control. It combines elements of Brazilian jiu-jitsu, Judo and Sambo.
The last time ONE Championship was in Qatar, ONE Bantamweight Kickboxing World Champion Jonathan Haggerty successfully defended his belt against #1 contender Wei Rui, and reigning ONE Strawweight MMA World Champion Joshua Pacio submitted interim titleholder Jarred Brooks to unify the belts!
