Doha Expo 2023 is happening with the support of Qatar's Prime Minister HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani and led by the Ministry of Municipality.
This Expo embodies the principles of Qatar National Vision 2030, placing environmental management and sustainable development at the forefront of its mission.
The chosen theme for Doha Expo 2023 is “Green Desert, Better Environment”. The Expo aims to inspire the international community to adopt innovative solutions for mitigating desertification. A mindful moment and a movement of awareness, a call to consciousness and change. A gathering of ideas and minds to promote a sustainable future based on shared goals and collective action.
In collaboration with the Bureau International Des Expositions (BIE) and the International Association for Horticultural Producers (AIPH), Doha Expo 2023 will attract international visitors, organisers from 80 countries, representatives from the private sector, NGOs, and the general public.
Doha Expo 2023 will take place in the scenic Al Bidda Park, with breath-taking views of the azure waters of the Arabian Gulf. This historic park spans an impressive 1.7 million square metres offering lush green spaces, sports facilities, and birdwatching opportunities.
Here, visitors will be treated to a captivating experience that includes ornamental gardens, thought-provoking panel discussions, enlightening conferences, live shows, and exquisite art and culinary performances.
Spanning from October 2023 to March 2024, Doha Expo 2023 offers an extensive 179-day program, ensuring ample time for visitors to immerse themselves in the wonders it has to offer. Situated in the heart of Doha, this prime location boasts convenient proximity to Hamad International Airport, Doha Port, and the Business Centre.
