Lusail International Circuit, located approximately 30 km from central Doha, is one of the largest venues in Qatar and one of the best race tracks in the Middle East. A must-visit for race enthusiasts.
Located in the fast-moving city of Lusail, race enthusiasts enjoy adrenaline-pumping sessions of go-karting action along the 5.4-kilometre Lusail International Circuit.
Designed at first for motorcycling events, the track is a flowing of 5.4 kilometres of medium and high-speed corners and straights with a couple of quick left-handers that are popular with riders.
In 2008, the circuit added outdoor lighting for night races, creating what was at the time the largest lit venue in the world.
Thanks to the Circuit’s state-of-the-art facilities, the Qatar Motor & Motorcycle Federation and Formula 1 recently signed a deal to host the Ooredoo Grand Prix from November 19 to 21 at Lusail.
Go-karting is the main attraction these days with speedsters joining the QMMF Karting Academy and flocking to this fantastic venue on a regular basis to challenge friends and colleagues. Do you fancy your chances of beating the fastest lap record set by Omar Aswat in January 2020?
Bring your own car or bike and experience the sheer exhilaration of Track Day. Yes, the general public are allowed to have fun here with their own vehicle – simply book online.
Lusail International Circuit was built in preparation for Qatar’s MotoGP motorcycle event in 2004. In 2021 the venue hosted the country’s first-ever the FIA Formula One World Championship. Qatar signed an additional deal to host the event from 2023 onwards.
