Qatar Museums Gallery

An intimate venue for public art projects, QM Gallery Katara is located within Katara Cultural Village, which houses theatres, concert halls, and restaurants. The QM Gallery provides a platform for Qatar’s museums to present their collections. To foster a personal connection with audiences, the gallery hosts artists whose work centres around human themes. These include Yan Pei Ming’s portraits of famous Arabs and Brigitte Lacombe’s examination of female athletes in the Arab world.

How to get there?

  • Katara Cultural Village is easily accessible by car.

  • Katara Cultural Village Metro Station on the Red Line. 

Located within the arty Katara Cultural Village, is the renowned Qatar Museums Gallery. Established in 2010, it showcases art collections from Qataris and artists from the international scene.

Exhibitions are rotated almost every two months and though the platform may differ, the art often revolves around human themes. The idea is to evoke individual contemplation.

Qatar Museums nurtures talent, creates opportunities and develops skills while pushing the boundaries of the traditional museum model, to create cultural experiences that reach the widest possible audience.
