Fabio Di Giannantonio secured his maiden MotoGP triumph at the Grand Prix of Qatar. Riding for Gresini Ducati, he strategically stalked championship leader Francesco Bagnaia throughout most of the race, making a decisive move in the final stages to claim victory. Despite this, Bagnaia made significant progress in the season standings at the expense of title rival Jorge Martin.
