Education City Golf Club is accessible via car. The distance from Hamad International Airport is approximately 25 minutes. The distance from Doha's business district, West Bay, is 20 minutes.
Education City Golf Club (ECGC), located in Education City, opened in 2019 under the patronage of Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development. Though it is now operated by AMLAK Hospitality, the facility continues its aim to integrate the game of golf into the Qatari culture.
Education City Golf Club offers a revolutionary and holistic approach to developing the game of golf. It comprises of 33 golf holes, an 18-hole championship course, a 6-hole championship course and a floodlit 9-hole par 3 course, all designed by two-time major winner, Jose Maria Olazabal.
The facility includes a state-of-the-art learning and practice facility, housed in the Centre of Excellence, along with a TrackMan driving range.
The tuition available at the Education City Golf Club Centre of Excellence is provided by an outstanding team of PGA Professionals. From beginners to the elite, tuition to suit players of all abilities is offered by professionals utilising the latest golf technology to develop your game.
The clubhouse and academy building also offer all-day dining options. Surrounding the clubhouse are large gardens where a number of lawn sports and padel courts are also available.
Events, from teambuilding activities and corporate events to semi-formal gatherings and weddings, can be hosted at the ECGC and are organized by an expert service and hospitality team that is flexible to meet specific event requirements and all of your dietary needs.
Education City Golf Club features the Range, a unique facility consisting of TrackMan technology where your practice data is fed directly to the TrackMan application, allowing you to efficiently track your games.
Education City Golf Club is located in Education City. Unlike any other place in Qatar, Education City is home to branch campuses of some of the world’s leading educational institutes, a homegrown research university, start-up incubators, technology parks, heritage sites, cultural institutions, and much more.
