Embrace a feeling of playfulness
The sprawling park features avenues of trees and gardens with native plant species that create a pleasant micro-climate – up to 10 degrees cooler than areas without trees. Water features are also dotted around the park, and contribute to a more enjoyable, Mediterranean temperature for its picnic lawns and play areas.
Hours of family play time
The park is a fun place for young and old to hang out, and playgrounds were specifically designed with abundant shade, soft surfaces to play on, and access to water fountains and facilities. Adults, teens and kids can have fun riding different bikes through the park, while kids can cruise around on small buggies.
Get active with outdoor exercise
Enjoy a great workout with a choice of 12 fitness challenges. Outdoor gym equipment include an elliptical, pendulum, abs & dips station, leg and chest press. The park’s winding pathways feel like a labyrinth, and are perfect for exploring on bikes or roller skates.
Savour something tasty in the open air
If you want to enjoy your lunch break outside or a family picnic, there are plenty of food outlets with exotic treats to choose from. Burgers, donuts, churros, Japanese cheesecake, karak tea and chapati bread, to name just a few!
Magical days and evenings under the stars
With its prime West Bay location, the park regularly hosts sporting events such as the Ooredoo Doha Marathon, food festivals, music spectaculars like Qatar Concerts and community get-togethers for Eid and Ramadan. The park is even more vibrant at night, with sparkling lights that illuminate sculptures, trees and streaming water.
