Abdur Rahim, Guest Services Agent at The Ritz-Carlton Doha, reveals hidden gems that should be on your radar.
I am from Bangladesh; I have been working as a Guest Services Agent at The Ritz-Carlton Doha for 16 years - since 2005. Interacting with people is one of my fortes, thus I love Customer Service and deeply enjoy what I do. My hobbies include exploring local attractions and walking by the beach while at home, I enjoy watching documentaries and cooking.
My life in Qatar is about constant learning; working in such a diverse society with many different cultures really helps me grow as an individual. The first time I came in Qatar, I had a culture shock - the sudden change of weather and the change of environment felt heavy at first. However, I adjusted well and came to realise how humble and helpful the locals are. Qatar is such a safe country.
