The National Museum of Qatar is a prime spot for that iconic photograph of Doha’s skyline – set against the desert rose-inspired exterior of the museum. Head up to Jiwan on the fourth floor and watch the sunlight catch the bevelled surfaces of the Tornado Building.   

Book a dhow cruise from the Old Doha Port to the small uninhabited island of Al Safliya. Watch the city shoreline melt into the sea as you cruise towards the island, then enjoy a leisurely afternoon of great city views from your beach cabana or jet ski.  

Perched like a giant oyster shell on its own pier, Japanese restaurant Nobu offers up magnificent, 180-degree vistas of the West Bay skyline. Sip your favourite drink on the terrace and enjoy a front-row seat for spectacular urban sunsets.

The photogenic Box Park consists of brightly painted shipping containers, repurposed into shopping and food outlets. The upper floors will treat you to panoramic vistas of Ras Abu Aboud Stadium, MIA Park and the National Museum of Qatar.

The leafy park surrounding the Sheraton Hotel is a favourite spot for taking in the city’s vistas. The park is known for its pyramid-shaped hill offering great views of West Bay and the Corniche.
